Mount Pleasant Home is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization serving elders in the Boston area.
Your tax-deductible donation goes towards the operating expenses of running the home. We are asking for your help in support of our home and our mission. You decide the amount that is right for you, but consider these needs:
Meals and Service - Think about the cost of preparing, cooking, and meals for 60 residents daily! Add to that showering, housekeeping, and laundry!
Health and Professional Care - We provide 24 hours of nurturing, sensitive, hands-on assistance provided by our Personal Care team with dignity and love to all who live here.
Phone Service - Keeping in touch with doctors and family members of residents is critical to our work. Did you know that we provide free long distance service to our residents?
Activities - Keeping the minds and bodies of the elderly as sharp as possible is key to our mission. We provide multiple activities daily for everyone to participate in such as yoga, fitness, art, crafts, music, movies, birthday parties, holiday celebrations, etc. - all of which have costs associated.
Transportation - Our residents enjoy many opportunities to get out and connect with Boston activities, such as bowling, Arboretum walks, and shopping trips, to name a few. |
